Animal Adoption at our Summer Camp for Teenagers

Animal Adoption

At Stone Mountain Adventures campers have the opportunity to adopt a rabbit for the time they are at camp. As a “parent” campers are responsible for feeding and watering their rabbit every day and cleaning the cage every four days. Campers are often hovering around the bunny hutches during "Power Hour,", naming their bunnies and making signs for their cages during Art Studio. Bunnies are cuddly and cute and will “love you back” if you treat them with care and respect. Adopting a bunny at Stone Mountain Adventures is the highlight of the summer for some campers. Campers are not required to take their bunny home at the end of the summer. There are also plenty of dogs and cats at Stone Mountain Adventures for campers to love, too!
