Seriously, the winter has been so bitterly cold that it’s hard to even begin to think about summer.
But for parents, it’s time to think about what activities your children will be doing when summer finally gets here. And there may be no better place and day than Mount Nittany Middle School on Saturday.
The school, just off Warner Boulevard on Brandywine Drive in College Township, will be holding a summer youth fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event, which offers parents and students a clearinghouse of program representatives, is the largest gathering of its kind in the area.
Families can choose from almost 50 area representatives, from day camps to preschools and religious activities to athletics. Plus, many of the organizations on hand represent numerous programs.
The event is sponsored by the State College Area School District Community Education, and it is free. For information on organizations participating in the event, call 231-1062 or see the complete list on this page.
