Stone Mountain Adventures is a Teen Summer Camp in PA serving 12 to 16 year olds.
Our 16 year old daughter is returning for her second year this summer, not for one session like last year, but for two. She absolutely cannot wait to go back. After having attended several local camps, our daughter wanted something more in a summer camp experience, and found this camp entirely on her own. She convinced us to sign her up as she was certain that this was going to be a great experience. And sure enough, it was so much more than even she expected. This camp is special for so many reasons but most of all because of Jud and Anne Millar, who own and run the camp. They have created an environment just for teenagers, which allows the focus to be solely on that age group. The campers feel very empowered as they get to choose their own daily activities, yet they are in a very safe environment and supervised at all times. Our daughter had the opportunity to try things she had never done before, including white water rafting and visiting an Amish market auction. I can't even begin to explain what a wonderful, unique experience she had.
