There's nothing like a Stone Mountain Adventures rafting day, and on June 29, 2026, our Session 1White Water Rafting Day was totally epic!

On August 16, 2023 every SMA Session 4 camper and staff member woke early and had a cold breakfast which would give us the fuel we needed for the day ahead.  We loaded into our camp vans and began the road trip that would take us from Stone Mountain Adventures to Ohiopyle, PA.  Home of the mighty Youghiogheny river (aha The Yough).  Here we met our Wilderness Voyagers White Water Guides, got geared up for the day and did a in depth safety briefing.  We were about to embark on our 4th and final White Water Rafting Day!  We had an AMAZING Day on the river!! All would later agree that we saved the best for last!!

On August 2nd, 2023 every SMA Session 3 camper and staff member woke early and had a cold breakfast which would give us the fuel we needed for the day ahead.  We loaded into our camp vans and began the road trip that would take us from Stone Mountain Adventures to Ohiopyle, PA.  Home of the mighty Youghiogheny river (aha The Yough).  Here we met our Wilderness Voyagers White Water Guides, got geared up for the day and did a in depth safety briefing.  We had an AMAZING Day on the river!!

On July 3rd, 2023 every camper and staff member woke early and had a cold breakfast which would give us the fuel we needed for the day ahead.  We loaded into our camp vans and began the road trip that would take us from Stone Mountain Adventures to Ohiopyle, PA.  Home of the might Youghiogheny river (aha The Yough).  Here we met our Wilderness Voyagers White Water Guides, got geared up for the day and did a in depth safety briefing.  Our guides were all So Excited as it had recently stormed and the water levels rose from a shallow 1.5ft to an excited 3.5ft (see photo):

On Monday, July17th everyone in Stone Mountain Adventures Session 2, 2022 went White Water Rafting on the Lower Youghiogheny River.  Our guides with Wilderness Voyagers were amazing... AND we have photos:

We had a fantastic day White Water Rafting yesterday on the Lower Youghiogheny River in Ohiopyle State Park!  Our 5th year campers even got to paddle single duckie inflatable kayaks!

Today our courageous group of campers and staff that make up Stone Mountain Adventures Session 3 went white water rafting on the mighty Youghiogheny River!  It was a great day on the river:

• The weather was perfect with blue skies 
• Our guides with Wilderness Voyagers were fantastic
• The SMA campers and staff of 3rd Session were brave and enthusiastic
