At Stone Mountain Adventures (SMA), there’s a rhythm to each week—and one of the absolute highlights is All Camp Day. It’s a cherished weekly tradition that gives campers and staff a break from the regular schedule and a chance to kick back, laugh hard, and create some seriously amazing memories together.
This week’s All Camp Day was one for the books. The theme? SMA BOOTCAMP—and as you’ll see in the photos, our campers brought the intensity, hilarity, and full-on creativity to their cabin skits. After spending time brainstorming, rehearsing, and crafting their performances, each cabin performs thier skit in their cabin in front of the "Bunk Inspectors" and other SMA Staff. Let me tell you: we were blown away. From absurd obstacle courses to mock-serious training drills and over-the-top “drill sergeants,” the creativity on display was off the charts.
But All Camp Day is more than just skits—it’s a full-day experience designed to help our community reconnect and recharge. We start with a late wake-up and a special breakfast—think donuts, bagels, and good vibes. Then it’s time for cabin deep cleaning, with a twist: each cabin has to work together to not only tidy up, but also integrate skit practice into the mix. It’s part teamwork, part imagination, and a whole lot of fun. After lunch, we head out for an afternoon activities
The day wraps up with our all-camp BBQ (a favorite!), followed by a special evening meeting where we introduce the SMAM Program—Stone Mountain Activity Masters—a fun way to encourage campers to try new things and earn a coveted SMA water bottle. Finally, we gather for Candlelight, a reflective time to share thoughts, feelings, and goals as a camp family.
All Camp Days bring out the best in our campers: creativity, connection, laughter, and a little bit of that SMA magic. Whether they’re scrubbing floors, performing in skits, or soaking up sunshine at the lake, campers are learning, growing, and bonding in ways that stay with them long after the summer ends.
