All of us at Stone Mountain Adventures (SMA) are excited to be able to share the magic of mountain biking AND the incredible Allegrippis trails with the kids and teens who attend Dirt Fest. We work hand-in-hand with Dirt Rag to continue to make Dirt Fest PA a family friendly event!

We are Super Excited to be hosting 2 Kids and Teen Events at Dirt Rag Dirt Fest PA 2017:

      1) The Sunday Kids and Teen Ride (Free)

      2) A Day Camp for Kids and Teens at the new Raystown Lake Skills Park Expo


SMA Dirt Rag Dirt Fest PA Sunday Teen Ride Details (free):

New Call-to-actionStone Mountain Adventures (SMA) offers overnight teen summer camps for 12 to 16 year olds. We are thrilled to be hosting the Sunday Kids and Teen Ride for the fourth year in a row!  Last years ride was "Wet and Wild" for sure (see the second YouTube Video) and we are praying for sunny skies and dry trails this year!

A Message from Director Jud about this years Sunday Kids and Teen Ride

What: Kids and Teen Mountain Bike Ride at Dirt Fest 2017!

When: Sunday, May 21st from 10am to 1pm

Where: Meet at the Bakers Hollow Parking Lot at 10am or the SMA booth at 9.30am to catch the shuttle.

Details about the Sunday kids and Teen Ride 

  • This ride will begin at 10am on Sunday, May 21st at the Bakers Hollow Parking Lot.  
  • You can also meet at the SMA Sleep Away Camp for Teens Booth at the Bike Park Expo to catch the shuttle at 9.30am
  • This ride is open to kids and teens between the ages of 10 and 17  
  • There are 2 rides to choose from:
    • Easier Ride: a more chill ride for beginners and
    • Intermediate Ride: a longer, more intense ride for experienced riders.  
  • Stone Mountain Adventures Directors and staff will join in and supervise the ride.
  • Riders must come with their own helmet and bike, or they can demo a bike as well. 
  • Parents and Riders must complete a liability release waiver
  • Lunch will be provided to all riders at the Pine Pavilion near the Bike Park Expo at 1pm 
  • SMA will also be offering a Tween & Teen Day Camp on Friday afternoon and Saturday

Details about the Dirt Rag Dirt Fest PA Day Camp hosted by SMA Teen Camp!

Stone Mountain Adventures has worked closely with the awesome folks at Dirt Rag to continue to make Dirt Rag Dirt Fest a family friendly event.  To that end we are excited to be hosting 3 Sessions of Day Camp this year!

What: Kids and Teen Day Camp at Dirt Rag Dirt Fest PA 2017!

When: Friday from 1-4pm; Saturday 9am to Noon, Saturday 1 to 4pm

Where: This Day Camp will take place at the SMA Booth in  New Skills Park Expo as well as in and around the Seven Points Recreation Area

Who: Ages 8 to 16 (Campers will be split into groups)

  • Families can sign up for multiple sessions
    • Friday 1pm to 4pm
    • Saturday 9am to Noon
    • Saturday 1pm to 4pm
  • The Day Camp will be run by SMA Directors and Staff
  • Summer-Camps-For-Teens-2.pngThe Camp will take place in and around the 7 Points Recreation Area
  • Activities at the Day Camp will include
    • Biking at the Raystown Lake Skills Park
    • Canoeing and SUPing in Raystown by the Seven Point Marina and the bay
    • Sand Volleyball and GAGA
    • Arts and Crafts Projects in the Pine Pavilion 
    • Carnival Games at the SMA Booth 
    • Learning to Unicycle
    • Scavenger Hunts
    • Ultimate Frisbbee and Kickball 
  • This Day Camp is open to kids ages 8 to 16. Campers will be split into groups based on age
  • Parents must complete online registration at least 24 hours before the camp begins
  • Once the online registration is complete parents must also sign a liability release form
